Use My Inspired Year to Develop Success Habits in Your Life

Successful people are simply those with successful habits.
– Brian Tracy

We all know the benefits of good habits. The only problem with a good habit is that it takes time to develop. My Inspired Year is set up so that you plan to start one new success habit every month.

Habits are tracked as Internal Goals. Even if your habit is something practical, the beauty of a good habit is that it takes hold of you on the inside and makes you a better person.

You might think it’s a pain to write out your habits every week. As with your goals, writing them out acts as a reminder of how important they are and makes it possible for you to track your progress.

Marla Cilley, a.k.a. Flylady, helps overwhelmed and sidetracked homemakers get organized and get their homes in order. One of the habits she recommends for them is getting dressed first thing in the morning, before coffee, and wearing lace-up shoes to let yourself know that you are serious about getting things done.

If you work from home and have fallen into the habit of lounging around in your pyjamas or sweatpants, you’ll probably find that getting dressed increases your productivity. It’s hard to take yourself seriously with bedhead and bunny slippers.

While Flylady focuses primarily on housework, with a giant bonus in the areas of self-esteem and productivity, you can apply My Inspired Year to whatever area of your life you’d like to work on.

The items I’ve offered as suggestions tend toward personal growth, but you can also choose to work on your business habits. Maybe your biggest payback would come from emailing your list every day, or working on your next book.

How you use these pages is completely up to you.
